One of the interesting facts that I learned from chapter 3 was the importance of Listening. I personally wrote on my blog about men and women using different language and how listening was one of the main reasons why effective communication is difficult to achieve. Listening is the only way to fully communicate in a way that everyone can understand what is being addressed and engage in a mutual social awareness. This concept is crucial for everyone to understand because of the downfalls that occur when ineffective communication is present. I personally know how listening is a pertinent part of socializing and maintaining a good friendship and relationship and without it communication does not exist.
